Warranty Labels
Here at Tollgate Labels we manufacture warranty labels designed to deter or provide an indication that an item has been opened or tampered with. The two most commonly used materials are void polyester and destructible vinyl. The void polyester is designed to leave a 'void' message upon removal, whereas the destructible vinyl breaks into small pieces, giving an 'egg shell' effect. These products are perfect for sealing lids on equipment, applying to screw holes or boxes containing highly valuable items such as mobile phones etc. Typically a warranty label might display the words 'warranty void if seal broken' or 'warranty void if removed'. Furthermore, these labels can also include sequential numbering, logos and barcodes, thus providing extra security features.
